Entertainment Weekly talked a while ago with Hugh Jackman, who plays Wolverine on the X-Men movies. Among the main subjects regarding the upcoming X-Men 3 was the Wolverine spin-off that’s in the works.
Here’s a bit:
“There’s a lot of things we really tried to get in 1 and 2 which — I don’t mean to be blunt — were just real expensive and we couldn’t get them in until 1 and 2 were so successful. So there’s some sequences there that the fans — if you go to that midnight screening on the first night, they’ll just be going ballistic. There’s some specific choreography, famous fighting moves, that we use in this movie that we haven’t been able to do before.”

Rubik’s Cube world record January 16, 2006

Leyan Lo, a 20-year-old Caltech (California Institute of Technology) student set a new world record last Saturday for solving the popular Rubik’s Cube puzzle, turning it from scrambled to solved in just 11.13 seconds!
The Caltech’s Rubik’s Cube Club hosted the competition at the Exploratorium museum in San Francisco. Although Leyan had the fastest time he wasn’t the overall winner, which is determined by averaging three of five solution times in the final round. Shotaro “Macky” Makisumi, a 15-year-old high school sophomore from Pasadena won first place with an average time of 14.91 seconds.
And I didn’t even solved it once in my life…

If you’re someone that is visiting Kawaii since the old pink one, you noticed I have watched closely for any Ultraviolet updates, the new Kurt Wimmer film, featuring Milla Jovovich. And during this week, the trailer was released and I must say I’m still looking forward to see it, although I think the trailer shows “too much”.

The new Kawaii is online, finally! After some minor misunderstandings, it’s back up and the warehouses are filled with news and brainjunk to post!
So, I hope you like the new one, and you can learn a bit more about it in the About page, above. A link to the previous Kawaii is also there. The reason it’s there is that I thought of bringing all the old news here, but I got a bit lazy. Heh.. That and to stay faithful to the comments, which I would like to bring together with the news. I bring everything or nothing.
